Looks like pretty soon I need new Brake Pads and Rotors.....which ones do you suggest?

I think I want slotted rotors, but don't know anything from there.

I went with http://www.ws6store.com rotors. I think they're drilled and slotted.

There's quite a few on here that have the drilled and slotted rotors from ws6store.com and have good experiences with them. they're cheap too I think around $160. I went with Brembo blanks. I don't trust or see the advantages for everyday driving of the drilled and slotted rotors. For pads most people suggest hawk hps. I've got them and really like them alot for the front pads. I don't like them on the back though. Mine squeak on the back and I've tried everything to get them to quit. I've been told it's because of what the pads are made of and they don't get clamped enough on the rear to heat them up enough to keep from squeaking.

I'd also suggest getting stainless steel braided brake lines. They are $100, but with new rotors, pads, and lines, you will have a whole new brake feel. I just got everything new this summer and it made a world of difference in how well the brakes stopped the car.

dont braided lines give you a softer pedal? from what i understand hardlines are better. i have hawk hps pads and i like them tons. the rotor part is a well debated subject. there have actually been a few threads about this same topic just recently.

If they have not been turned already you may consider that option. Then you will have original good steel discs. (new ones that are too cheap often are made of inferior stuff). Then all you need is a good set of pads and they will be like new. I did mine that way and they are fine again.

The stainless braided lines take the place of the short rubber lines that hook to the caliper. They keep the line from bulging like the rubber lines will providing a stiffer pedal feel. You can't have hardlines there because of the wheel suspension travel.

blank rotors will help you stop the best slotted and drilled offer worse stopping and eat up the pads a lot faster

Blanks are cheaper. That's why I need some. Because this brake noise is driving me crazy!

Then it's on to LS1 brakes for me.
