Baught this car for a 1000 bucks almost 2 years ago and havent done much with it, till now. The car was pro charged untill the guy I baught it off of took it. He said it leaked oil everywhere and had bad blowby and wouldnt hardly run. He took the engine apart changed all the gaskets then got it running, but never could get it to run right. I baught it and pulled the motor and it has sat for over a year. When we tore the motor apart we found that a oil ring was broken, most likely due to the pro charger. Now the motor is done and waiting for me to pick up and to get it back into the car. I dont have pictures of the engine yet but will soon.
It has all comp cams drive train including the cc 306 cam, hardened pushrods, roller rockers, and all new bearings. A friend of mine with a 11 second 96 z28 has put it together for me. The car came with kenny brown weld in subframe connectors. I have baught a TCI 3000 stall, 18x10.5 Z06 wheels, Nitrous and few other things to go on the car.

Ive got my intake powdercoated red like the LT4 intake, k&N cold air intake, and a few other things with the motor that ill get some pictures of. Im ready to actually drive this car becuase when I baught it, it would run for about 10 mins and stall out and die so I just went ahead and pulled the motor.

Instead of rubber on the road, you will make your own T/A tracks. :)

If i wasnt worried about somebody stealing them, i would leave it on jackstands and keep those rims on it just to keep those ugly stock rims off.

I like the early 4th gen TA's.. You'll have fun with it, but man, that car needs a serious detail ;)

Once the engine is back in and running, there will be lots of detailing going on with it.

I have this posted in show and shine and dnt know how to move it over here, this seems like a better place to have it.
The engine has the cc 306 cam, port and polished heads with all comp cams components with bee hive valve springs, Comp Cams hardened pushrods, Comp Cams lifters, all new bearings and molly rings. I have a vortech elbo drilled for the nitrous and a k&N cold air intake,For the ignition i have a msd box with msd wires and msd coil. I have ceramic coated Hooker super comp headers and will do 3" exhaust to the back into a slp cat back or bullets not sure yet. I have a auto trans witch was rebuilt to corvette specs and has a shift kit and a 3000 TCI stall to go with it. The car has Kenny Brown weld in subframe connectors. I have a wet Nitrous Kit to go on the car once the engine is back in and running/tuned. I have 18" Z06 rims that are 9.5's up front and 10.5's for the back, still need to decide on tires.

Thanks I appreciate it! I haven't had any sort of desire to mess with the car lately, though this comment could be enough for me to get out and hook my nitrous back up again, maybe get the car back out on the street again :)
You should get ahold of a good orbital polisher and really take a good hit at the paint, even older paint in that color is very easy to bring back to a like new luster :)

Yea i was planning on detailing the crap out of it here shortly. Its been raining alot and hadnt really had a chance to mess with the outside. I baught this car off of my next door neighbor and he said it had sit for almost 2 years. The owner had the car at a different location than him and he never drove it. It was procharged and had alot of nice stuff on it. When my neighbor got it, he sold the procharger on ebay and pulled the engine to change the gaskets to stop the oil leaks, and tried for months to get it to run right with no success. So i baught it for a 1000 bucks hoping to get it to run better than ever. I think im on the right path, I just hope that I can get that paint to look better.

For $1000 you can't argue too much, the paint should come back just need to get yourself some good paint polishing products and a good orbital polisher, should bring back a good amount of the shine for ya.

Finally a update:
I now have the engine down in the car. The stall is in and the transmission is now hooked up and so is the driveshaft. I have most of the wiring harness plugged in. I still need to add oil the motor and get some transmission fluid in. I have to get the headers on and prime the motor. Soon ill be able to get the radiator in and fill it up with coolant.
Just a recap, the motor is a stock Lt1 with all new bearings and new moly rings, a cc 306 cam, the heads have been ported and polished and milled down with comp cams hardened push rods, Bee hive valve springs for up to a 600 lift, i have msd ignition, the transmission has been rebuilt with a shift kit and a TCI 3000 stall,. Once the motor is running and tuned I have a 250 shot of nitrous going on it and installing 4:10 rearend gears. Let me know what you think.
