98 v6 130,xxx ..... sometimes starts right up runs no prob... but sometimes i have to pump the hell out of it and hold it to the floor to start.. then it might rough idle then die.. when it does start it will run on seems good on power but when i clutch to shift or put it in nuetral it will run from 2,000 rpm to 2 1/2 and fluckuate.. i put some injector cleaner in one tank then the next a can of heat..... whats my prob guys?? fuel filter? pump??? need to get this running so i can get rid of it got a little girl on the way... any help is appreciated.. thanks
Do you have any codes stored in the computer? this could be anything from fuel, to spark. There should be no reason to pump that car, cause it's fuel injected. Pumping it will do nothing to help it start.

where can i get it on the computer at? all we have where im from is o reilys
If your check engine light is on, you will need to get an OBD2 code reader. Most autoparts stores will pull the codes for you for free, but it would be worth it to get a $40 code reader so that you have it when you pop another code.

they should be able to scan it for you. this is the 3800 correct? i would check the IAC motor to see if its all carbonated up. these cars are know for this but im not saying thats the problem just a could be. like Tony said need to scan for codes
