camaro dashes

I just recently bought be a 93 z28 camaro and noticed that the dashboard is quite larger than any other cars ive ever driven. is the dash the same on '93s and up? I am just curious, i didn't notice this till i was going over hills and couldn't see the road.

93-96 have the same interior. 97-2002 have the same dash.

Only difference is the exterior front facia of the 1997 car looks like the 93-96 but it has the newer style dash.

I drive in an SUV and a camaro so i've never had the "luxury" of a small dash....I don't really notice the diffrence.

Yea when I first got my Camaro, which was my first car, I didn't think I would be able to drive it because it had such a large dash. Then I got use to it and it seems like nothing to me now. I really don't know why it's so big thou...

The reason why its so large is because the motor is sitting under half of it :)

However.. its very weird getting into a 91 blazer that has a dash 1/4 the depth, and a 80 degree windshield right in your face [after driving my 95 Z28]

Wanna talk wierd? I went from a Corsica to a Camaro. It would take 2 Corsica dashes to equal 1 Camaro dash, and there would still be room to move it. I personally love the larger dash, it makes me feel more powerful and important, kinda like a big executives desk.

I dont have a problem with the dash it was the slope of the windsheild and the roof sits so low. I go to my bonaville it feels like an old caddy.
