Alright, unique question... When i bought my camaro back in October of '02 when i cleaned the rims... the grease came off nice and easy on the front 2 rims.. now a days.. it takes me forever to get the grease off.. and they get black faster.. anyone know why or had this happen and some solutions?

Hey,
This is just my opinion, but I figured I would offer it anyways. When I first bought my car, it was dirty as hell. So of course I bought the best cleaning stuff, and I gave her a first rate wash and wax. The wheels were shining. However, the wheels always seem to dirty up real quick now. I would venture to say that it is the cleaning materials that pick up the dirt faster. As far as them being harder to clean, I have not a damn clue why it now requires a scrub brush, some harsh cleaning fluid, and a lot of time to get them shining again. But I will go to whatever means necessary to make sure that my car looks better than the damn Ricer's next to me.

Yeah, when i read that it was like a lightbulb.. I always use scrub brushes and cleaning stuff.. so least i'm not the only one.. Thanks Matt... And your right.. no matter how long it takes to scrub it off it's going to look better than the guy next to me... Have a great daay!

haha!

the first day i got my car, i was outside scrubbing my rims with some soap and a toothbrush! and it never worked all that good.

Now i use this stuff i bought at k-mart....spray it on, use the get brush and brush for 10 seconds, and they look brand new, but they get really dirty easily, so i use a liquid metal polish. it makes them to where they dont get all dirty in 2 days.

Cya later! oh yeah Mat, id suggest going to the dealership for the brakes...that dosnt sound right.

Yeah.. i went to meineke.. and they are going to do it this week.. it's going to be about 298.. wowy mowy!!! :-) My rotors went bad sniff sniff.. but it's going to get fixed!
