K&N intake

i bought my car a couple months ago and i went to change my air filter and saw that i had K&N cold air intake. i went to a performance parts store and they said the cold air intake for my 94 z28 should have two air cones, but mine only has one. does anyone know whether i have the right set up. thanks

I have a K&N cai setup on mine and it has only one filter. There is not really any difference between the 2 years. They might have a 2 filter set up. Mine is basically a tube than runs from the throttle body down to the front right (looking at front of car) of the engine compartment. The filter connects from the underside of the car after unbolting the underskirt in front of the right tire. 2 filters would have to be located in the engine compartment due to lack of room.

You can buy the cleaner and new oil at most auto parts store. To clean the filter just remove it. Spray on cleaner, let sit for about 5-10 min, let dry for 1/2-1 hr, then apply oil spray (not too heavy but generous enough to cover all parts of filter). Put filter back on tightly and that is it.
