Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum but not new to the Z at all. I have an 81Z with a 383 stroker in her :) Anywho, I've been thinking of moving to the forced induction world, seeing as I just got a new job that pays tons more than minimum wage. What I've been looking at is that paxton blower box for carburated motors. It's designed for the paxton supercharger, but it obviously will work with a turbo as well. I noted in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords last month that they made almost 1,000hp with a big turbo and a demon carb. My question is this, how easily could this box mount up to a GM? I'm assuming that it's not a bolt-on, and I'd probably need some sort of adapter for it to work. What opinions do you guys have on this setup? Anyone else out there try this? Thanks in advance.
