Before I start to remove my headliner and figure it out the hard way- you know, by scracthing my head and groaning because the assembly manual is too vague- how do I remove it? This is a coupe.

So I guess the weatherstriping trim has to come off first, followed by the sunvisors, and then the rear courtesy light.

How does the weatherstripping moulding above the window glass come down?

Thanks to everyone for being so helpful on this site.

Removed the headliner.....

I'd rate it at a level 1 in difficulty.

1.) Remove the visors.
2.) Unscrew and remove rear courtesy light and remove one of those annoying plastic pop rivets.
3.) Pry out the center button on the coat hangers
4.) Remove the weatherstrip trim. You will need to pull back gently on the trim and then use a flat head screw driver to pop the three clips per side.
5.) Pull the leading edge of the sail fins out of the way.
6.) Pop the retainers out of the seatbelt reals and move the belts through the access slits.

Viola! Its done. Headliner is out!

Now would be a good time to put in those t-tops. Its a third of the way there.... just cut the roof panel... cut the side bars.....bend the metal and shape the channels.... paint as required......install the weatherstrip..... install the trim pieces...

Maybe a few years from now!
