Anyone here from the Chicago suburbs? As in Chicago,Joliet,Woodfield,Orland Park,La Grange,Downers Grove? Those are just some examples of places. I think you get the idea.

havent been called for yet, but when i do i know it's gonna be tuff to pass, but i think with my 315's and 11'' wide rim there gonna have problems on the rollers so they will have to do the idle test..

Yeah most of my friends did, i dont just like to sit at steak and shake every night like most of them always did, I went up there usually about twice a week last summer. at the time I had probably the most suped up mercury cougar in Illiniois, it was 1994 and tan with rims and nitrous being the biggest things ran mid 14s, at the end of the summer i found a M6 black Z28 camaro, with SlP Loudmouth exhaust, limo tints all around, LT4 hot cam kit and nitrous kit soon to be installed with some pod gauges among other thing, but right now its in a storage garage for the winter and im driving the cougar. Im away at the University of Iowa for the most part. Back b4 i left for school i hung out with a group a guys that had 2 suped up caprices, a red Z28 with ss hood, 99 pewter formula, 99 pewter WS6, another 94 Z teal, 02 Z28 black - Bryan

Yes Steak and Shake is Tinley Park. That is where everyone goes that lives out in this area. And we even get a lot from farther south. I'm down for whatever though. Me and the guys took a few cruises out to DG last summer. Lamont is a pretty bad ass place on wed. when that starts up.

Its next weekend (March 12th) at Speed Inc. from 10am - 3pm. You know where Speed Inc is? There is going to be deals on parts, free food, and obviously a whole lot of cars (if the weather is good).

Alright so I have been waiting for someone to organize a meeting but nobody has really done so, so I was just wondering if everyone in the burbs wants to meet up somewhere this weekend...like saturday night (its not supposed to rain, and it should be warmer) like 7 or 8ish either like in the parking lot at the bank next to hooters on lagrange and 153rd or at stake n' shake at harlem and approx. 159th. Respond to this if you think your going to go. Also if any one of you prefer somewhere else to meet up, throw that idea out there, otherwise Ill probably say lets meet at steak and shake since thats the most popular place in the tinley/orland park area. Hope to see all of you around the chicago area there!

I'm from Naperville ere. I'd be up for any meeting. As far as emissions go yoor sig says that the car is a 97 so it is OBD-II. They won't even hook you up to a sniffer. All they do is check your PCM for codes. As long as you don't have a SES light on you will pass

I Changed the sig, that comment was for my 95 (race car only now) and thanks for reminding me... hey firehawk dude they couldn't do the rollers cause the Zr1's and the 11'' out back i told them if they damage anything with the rollers they were paying for it, so they did a sniffer test at idle like the old test use to be and it barely passed. Also my 97 is registered in MI so i have no emissions testing on that.
