question about spl exhaust

i have an 1982 z-28 with a cross fire enginein it. my question is if i want to go to a true dual exuast that can suport an engin with 400 horses and 125 shhot of nos on it which one would be the best. they have two sets the first one is for th 82-92 camaros but with single stock converter. this is what i have. the second one is for 87-92 dual stock converter. since i want to go to a dual exuast is this the one i want to get? would it still be emisions leagal as long as i but cats on it and kept the emision stiff on the engine?

Your going to have to come up with a custom exhaust if your going for true duals. The dual stock convertor your mentioning is side by side (same location as single) and join together right after that, into a 3 inch pipe that runs back to the muffler. The only way for true duals is with a custom exhaust shop. Though I did hear that your style early 3rd gen came with true duals. Haven't seen it myself though. Beside's they would be to small in diameter for the amount of power your looking to make.
