Thought about adding this on to a post down below, but didn't want to get the other off topic.

Basically what title says. My front right blinker was damaged a few months ago, and the light kept working fine for about 2 months after that. What I mean was someone backed into me and pushed in my headlight some and knocked out my blinker assembly. I'm guessing the weather finally shorted the blinkers out.

I just got it out of the shop and they fixed everything body wise. But my blinkers still do not work.

I checked the fuses, none seem to be out although I'll check again. I'm not really sure what to check next. The flashers work fine, and all the bulbs are good. It's just the blinkers are dead, they don't even light up on dash or outside of car, whenever I try to turn them on.

Any ideas ??

Thank you,

Tim

I'm just guessing here, but check all of the bulbs again. Did you put new ones in or are you just assuming they are good because the flashers work? Like I said, I'm just guessing, but I know some bulbs have two different filamints in them and some vehicles use one filimint for the flashers and the other for blinkers. Also, check the rear bulbs to make sure that they are good also. I don't know if this will help, but no one else chimed in yet, so I thought I would throw any idea your way. :D Good luck!

I'm gonna check that this weekend. Replaced a few of the bulbs not too long ago, but usually if a filament is out the blinker indicator light inside will stay on. Right now I get nothing from either side. If that makes sense.

She's goin in the shop for a tuneup in a week or so neways, gonna get guy there to take a look at it for me too if I don't find the problem. Glad I have an old car to drive around til then

You might want to do a blinker fluid flush and replace your blinker fluid filter, sometimes the lights get sluggish when it hasn't been changed in a while.

j/k ;)

LOL, blinker fluid. I actually had a lady going one day while telling her that she needed to change her blinker fluid.

You may want to open up the hood and look at the wires behind the headlight and blinker assemblies as the finder bender may have broken or disconnected one. And it may also be a short in the wire. Did you check the fuses under the hood, too?
