So I have decided to go with 3.42's, I was looking on ebay and seen some for really cheap but honestly I dunno if I wanna trust something from ebay in my car, especially gears... I started looking at richmond gear's webpage and seen they had lightened gears but they were only available for ford 9''. Can someone tell me who else makes any lightened 3.42 gears or just any brand that you can recomend for me. (kinda on a budget of course) :help:
thanks alot.

Richmond is a very strong gear but u might here some whine and every no and then u get a mis matched pinion and gear and u have to send back ur set for the correct one. I got richmond 3.73's and absolutely love them. Gas mileage is about the same on the highwaay and a little lower in town but nothing to noticeable. I would still suggest 3.73's on ur car if u have an A4.

If you're on a really low budget, I'd recommend talking to someone with the M6 who's upgraded and still has their stock 3.42s. Should be able to pick em up pretty cheap.
