Zeek, it depends on what HP shot you will be wanting to use. You can spray a 100 shot on that motor till the cows come home and it will not hurt it, IF IT'S DONE CORRECTLY. I spray 100 shot on a stock bottom end 468 and i have no complaints with it. I'm also a NX dealer too.......... :o)

agreed! i wouldnt go over a 100 shot w/ the stock bottom. as long as you use it wisely and try to take all safety measures that are possible you should be ok!

After blowing my motor a few weeks ago, I would say no more than 75 shot. I was running a 100 shot.

Mykdiver what Nitrous kit were you using? Was it the NX MAF system listed in your mods? Do you know what the bottle pressure was before that run? Did you check the plugs to get a good reading of them before that run? Did you flow the fuel going to the Nitrous to see if it flowed correctly before you ran? What fuel were you using? Was this the first time you sprayed the car? Did you do ANYTHING out of the ordinary before this run r trip to the track? Do you have a fuel pressure safety switch on your car? Do you have any type of programmer on your car or did you take it off for some reason?
Talk to me if you'd like to, i'd like to help you out any way that i could. I'm not being ugly or anything, just trying to help. Do not let this stop you from spraying your car, for only a 100 shot to hurt your motor, something wasn't right!!!

I have heard of 100 shot's put thru motors all the time the only really problem I have seen was a misintallation of a kit and he messed up some of the pistons. But that was a LT1 the ls1 will gulp the fast gas and live to tell.
