yes, most of the time by getting an aftermarket CHIP or TUNER.

you might wanna look into a new ignition..most stock ignitions cut out at those speeds..i would look into a MSD ignition or accel.i dont like my accel though.

You can get one of them hand held programmers from HyperTech but I agree on upgrading the ignition as well

nice job taking over his thread..on the previous page go up to the top and click the new thread button..make your own thread about this and youll get more information.

if your talking about brandons setup...i believe he ran Hedman Long Tubes with a 3in collector..then ran full 3in pipe out the back with two flowmaster mufflers dumped before the axel.(if i missd something brandon, feel free to correct)

i think he has pictures in the photo gallery if you look under his name

I tricked my computer like no other .. ripped it all out and like 10lbs of junk sitting in a box with the tpi unit as well before it even knew what hit it lol , back to topic here ;) Are you running a TPI,TBI,Carb on your car by the way ?? if you are turning alot of rpms I know TPI (and I'm sure the other cars will to due to the computer) will shut them down to a safer rpm so you wont blow it .. you could of have that happen to you

dont know if your car is 94 or newer but if it is than you have to get a programmer and set your top speed up it is set at the factory for gov. safety reasons what happens at 107 is the comp. shuts down fuel to injectors to limit speed. if it is pre 94 the comp. cant limit speed and your problem is in the ignition and it will do this at the same rpm in any gear.
