turn signal problems

alright guys maybe you can help me out was driving the z last night and went to turn left and the left turn signal just stays on, the right one is fine blinks but the left one lights up but just stays on? looked outside too right side bulbs fine,blinks. left side bulbs fine but nothing outside at all. what could this be? thanks guys i'm confused.

Your bulb is bad. Change the bulb and everything will be fine.

Same problem happend to me about 4 or 5 months ago.. I replace the bulbs on both side.. and nothing.. So i got under the steering colum and replaced the flasher.. and bam... all better

So if its not your bulb.. check your flasher... looks like a small can.

i know my 95 z only has one flasher for both right and left lights, so it cant be that, has to be a bulb

already checked but will double check it never hurts but when i did take the bulb out of the rear signal the socket is rusted real bad, hope this didn't hurt anything. how can I keep the water out? it's a 97 so it has the amber and the clear so it looks bad. thanks guys

my 95 has some sort of grease in there and theres no way it could rust....
if you got rust in there, your prolly loosing your connection, buy a new connector and splice it in there

Yeah there is only one flasher for the car.. but there are the 3 prongs... one is the left and the other is the right and i think the other is the ground. My left prong was messed up.. so i had to buy a new flasher and once that took place. the problem was solved :-)

check your bulbs and flasher..if thats not it look into a turn signal switch..:cool:
