Breathing Problems

Hey guys i'm sorry i havent been on for a while but i just had a son and it's been fun but now i am back !! i have one new problem i cant get enough air through this thing i hit the gas and she stutters like crazzy let off she is good take the hood off and she is ok take the air cleaner off and she is still good i put the thing back on and she dies! any info would be great thanx again

well to answer your ?'s one i have a carburated engine and 2 i have a k&n air filter wich is cleaned and changed reagularly i take very good care of my z any other suggestions

Get running and put the stuff back on . See what happens then . I am sure there is something simple going on . But I don't really think the airfilter is killing it

hmmmm sounds like to me.....ok i dont jack about carbs' could be a little spring or sumpin stupid. pick it apart and test it

How old is your carb? seals and gaskets could be leaking air in it somehow causeing it to studder and whatnot

hey um well i baught the carb less than a year ago and i know for shure it has not leaks i think it's just too small

are you running an open filter or a k&n with the factory snorkle style set-up?
