what is it? what does it do? I just saw it on ebay, no intention of buying it. just curious as to what it is. thanks

It locks the front brakes so you can spin the rear tires and do cool burnouts Mostly used at the track to warm drag tires

My friend (the one with the custom black C5) has just purchased the line lock. Can't wait to see how well his 425 hp C5 smokes 'em with it. Oh yes and there will be some videos and pictures of that as well.

Or you can set it with a 2 step limiter, that holds your car at a preset launch rpm. Have it set to a micro switch under the clutch pedal, so when you launch, all you have to do is floor the gas, and dump the clutch, which releases the 2 step, and line lock at the same time, launching the car. It RULES for manual cars!
