what is the widest tire that will fit on a iroc-z 's rim, i believe the rim says its a 8 inch wide rim, it has 215/60r16 on it right now, i want to fit 255 or 260/50r16's

I Got 245/50/16`s on my Iroc wheels their almost 11 1/2" Wide Thats a lot of Meat on the road :respekt:
