Thats like saying stop after 6 beers so you wont get drunk. Ive always seen great results on the pully, maybe its differant from an LT1 to an LS1 on gains, but i would doubt it, HP for dollar thats still one of the best mods. Porting and polishing the stock TB is cheap, but it is also cheap. Spend the extra money and get it done right, but thats just how Id do it.
Are you insinuating that I'm not doing it the right way. I have access to milling machines, lathes, calipers, and many other tools needed to do it the right way, so I don't have to pay $400 for a stock type unit that had the same thing done to it, but you can. Don't get me wrong, the aftermarkets are nice and done right, but I can do the same thing since I have access to the proper equipment. Most people don't go over 8psi on stock motors and that's w/an intercooler. I understand what you're talking about on the nitrous. You have it, you want to use all the time. I've seen improvements w/the pulley also, but some poeple want to claim outrageous #'s w/using them and nothing else.
