Ok let me let ya in on something.
I wouldnt have believed it if I didnt see it myself.
a 2003 Ford Mustange Cobra SUPERCHARGED from factory with cat back and lid, put down 435 corrected at the r.w's on dyno and 476 uncorrected at the r.w's on the dyno.
Even the old guy who owned it was shocked to say the least.
I raced one the other day at E-town and he pulled off a 12.0 flat to my 12.89 run.
Amazing. STILL WOULDNT GET RID OF MY LS1 THOUGH!
Ford undersizes their horse for a reason. Insurance would be TOO high and thus have an effect on their sales to younger males. Young men have a hard time with insurance as it is, imagine them like, " Um yes State Farm. I would like to know how much it would be to put full coverage on my '03 Mustang putting out 435 at the rear wheels?"
State Farm:
" Sir, are you out of your mind, or just insanely rich? It would cost.. hold on here, let me get my computer up for you. Holy Cow! 23,000 a month! Would you like to pay that in 6 month incriments or pay per month for 10 months with a 2 month downpayment?"
Person trying to insure the car:
" Umm, err, uhhhh, ugggh, gulp ( PASSES OUT AT THIS POINT! )
Hope that helps ya out
