Don't forget the ICM...just below the 3 coils...this is most likely the problem area before the PCM. Last ICM I lost actually blew a hole in one of the coils. Don't know if there is a way to test the ICM and they run about $275 at NAPA Auto...so just replacing it is an expensive experiment. Good grounding could also be the culprit. Is your misfire consistant or random and does it occur at low and high rpms?
