Front Brake/Rim Help!

Okay, so long story short- have my Z06 rims and some chorome lugnuts (cheapo ones from advance auto- never again!). Anyways, they keep loosening up on me and I'm always tightening them, PITA. Anyways, my brakes are relatively new, but it feels like they're rubbing when I'm driving, then I go look at the lugnuts and one or two may be loose.

The lugnuts, btw, aren't tapered...they're completely flat at the end of them, where they mate with the rim. The holes in the rim for them are most definately tapered.

So, what's causing this nasty rubbing? Is it the frikkin bad lugnuts that aren't tapered, therefore isn't keeping the rim on properly? Do I need to put my stock lugs back on? It's already destroyed a set of front brakes already, rubbing like crazy.
