2500hd duals

im supposed to be finding a place that will put dual exhaust on my friends 03 silverado 2500hd 8.1. no one will do it because it will be too loud! do they not realize that the LOUD part is what we look for?!?!? has anyone else had this problem?

well i know you can buy it. but the truck has 2 pipes that go into 1 muffler. he wants to cut off that one muffler and put 2 flowmaster 70 series to make it true dual

Got ya , Id just eye ball it and go get some mandrel bends and do it your selfs then

Had a better idea , Go get a second muffler back section and bam all you need is mufflers

it will probably not be that loud if it has converters on it, we did my buddies 8.1 and it was way quieter than my 6.0 HD

oh really. well i dont think that they are going to cut the converters off. did yours have them?
