Upgrades for a 91 k1500?

Hey I got a 91 k1500 with a 305 in it and I was just wondering what would be some good upgrades for it?

i would do an upgrade to a 5.3 or a 6.0. and if im not mistaken is it a tbi?

its a a stock tbi 305 I was just wondering if there where any nice heads and cam packages are out there for it and maybe different throttle body or injection set ups. So far i havent been able to find much on line for 305's

for what i have heard there aint much u can do to make a tbi fast. ive had friends that carb their trucks. first of all go full bolt on. plus a stall

im kind of curious myself....my cousin has 1 89 k1500 with the 350 and a 350 turbo tranny....what would be some good upgrades for him...i was thinking maybe headers, cam and a fourbarrel carb....with a stall and some 3.73 gears out back....i think it would do nice

the 350 TBI's in 91 trucks/blazers have about 320 ftlbs torque stock. If you can find one at a junk yard and drop it in with a few upgrades you will see a world of difference compared to the 305 you have.

thanks grade. Thats all I want is a little more grunt its gonna be an off road beater/winter beater so im not lookin for anything intense.

i had a 92 c1500 silverado w/305 TBI 5spd, i made it a 15 second truck...whether or not you want a 15 second winter beater is another question...
