Trouble codes!

i have a 94 camaro v6 that is throwing a check engine light is there anyway i can get to read the code without a scan tool i tried the tool for the 2 pins so it would flash the code but that didnt work. can anyone help me?

is the tool you got an Actron 9001, if so it wont work for our 94

1406 Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) Sensor Downstream Hose Off Or Plugged.....

means cause im stumped....

Are you working on a Ford by chance?That is a Ford code.Easy fix on a Ford....dunno bout the Chevy...

Question

No its on a 97 3.8 camaro and i was told it was the egr valve, but i know on fords its the ufo looking thing but on chevys i dont know....

it should be right near your intake i do believe it should have a hose clamp type thing around it. its easy to spot more than likely to be on the left bank.
