So confused!

Well over the weekend my car lost power while driving. Battery was drained so I got a jump well it turned over got like 1 mile and happened again so I thought alternator. So I got it replaced and worked fine for a day. Took it out today and it happened again. The battery and the alternator are both from autozone and the alternator is like 3 days old the battery is about 6 months. Any ideas on what this could be please help me out.

I wouldn't think it would be the battery since you only need that to start the car and then the alternator takes over. Did you have Autozone check the alternator after it happened again in case you got a defective one. Are your wires to the alternator correct and not shorting anywhere

I guess the first thing I would look for is if any of your wires are frayed

NAPA sucks ass! I went there one day with my dad, came out w/ 3 things (what the guy said would work) and NONE of the 3 things were correct for what we needed!

I've never had a problem with Advanced Auto! That's where my step dad and I always go if we need a part!

thats because the people at the counter were morons, alot of the parts stores are like that, but they have better quality parts.
