OK, I need some help here!!!
Alright, my T/A is throwing a few odd codes. It is throwing one for the IAT sensor input high voltage and a separate one for the IAT sensor intermittent high voltage. I have one for the EGR closed position performance. The guy who had it before me said that it needed a computer. I looked at the data tables while the car was running and it showed that the IAT was -38º. Then it showed the EGR at 94% when it was supposed to be 0%. I am very new to OBD2 and the LS1 so any input would be appreciated.

It's telling the pcm the temp of the air going in is lower than expected and the pcm isn't regulating the fuel properly to compensate. Your timing could also be off 3 degress.

I have the codes. The list is at work. i am a pro at pulling codes, but I am not always the best at fixing it right the first time.

Two things. first how is the car driving. I would first say the idle air temp sensor is bad. You can try replacing it. But if the old owner is saying you needed a new pcm then your going to want to have a mechinic look it over good make sure the iat is reading correct and giving the correct signal to the pcm. With that the egr is most likely acting up due to the iat being messed up.

OK, I had my boss look at it and we pulled the codes again. We came up with:
P0113 IAT Sensor High Voltage P0463 Fuel Level Sensor (the fuel gauge does not work because the stealership screwed over the first owner) P1111 IAT Intermittent High Voltage P1404 EGR Closed Position Performance P1539 A/C Clutch Feedback High Voltage My boss is an ASE certified mechanic and he suspects a bad ground. We replaced the EGR valve and the IAT with no luck. The IAT is reading -38º and the EGR is reading 93-95% actual position when it is supposed to be 0%. With all the high voltage codes, i think a bad ground is a good possibility.

It almost sounds like the previous owner put in that "chip" that is basically a resistor in the IAT to trick the computer into thinking the air is cooler than it really is. it causes the car to run rich. if you can ask the old owner about it do it, otherwise check this auction for what it may look like. if you find it, pull it out!!!!

Well, the IAT is brand new and the connector is going into the IAT directly with no obstructions.
