what would the symptoms of a bad ECu on the z28 be?

what would be a something to look out for if my car's computer is bad? i changed my oxygen sensors a few months back and after a few miles of driving..it seems they are goign again (black smoke coming from the exhaust). could it be ecu failure? the car has trouble accelarating.

Black smoke coming from the exhasut is not a sign that o2 sensors are going. its a sign that way too much gas is getting dumped into the engine and is not being burned. Now that will kill your o2 sensors. Do you have a check engine light on and if so what codes are in it. Also check the fuel trims to see if your running rich or lean.

Somethings that could cause the black smoke could be timeing off, spark plugs not fireing, or a leaking fuel injector.
