His are for the 4th gen f-body only, not the 3rd gen's. And in most cases, it's for the LT1 cars, and not the LS1 cars.

My brain fart! Its really a shame because his site has almost everything I ever needed. I don't know if mentioning other message boards is taboo but www.thirdgen.org has more on the 80's Camaros.

this is a buddy of mine and i dont have pics either but i can describe some stuff for ya, the vacume ports come out of the tpi. there is a rather large one torwards the front and a couple smaller on passenger side. it is quite weird. like he says, it has the initial pop then cuts out? i brought up the idea of a knock sensor but i have tried everything i could think of. what else i find strange is the small blue plug that plugs into dist, well there is one that comes out of harness AND one from the coil? what makes this a pain is the kid before him changed motor too.

i believe the rather large one is a PCV hose tube... as for the other two.. dosent one run to the dist? i forget about the last one... the timing is definitly set on the motor right? can we get any pics up of the blue plug, maybe from google atleast?

Yea large hose could be PCV or manifold vacuum. It should run fine if the PCV is disconnected, but if the manifold vac hose is off it probably won.t. The other line could be a dist advance vac line but that wont prevent it from running. As for the third vac line I am at a loss I would have to look at the mess you have before u.
