I have a 98 v6, and i replaced the rear end in it and now the brake light on the dash won't go off... what do i do?

Check the wires. You probably have a short in there some where.

Check the E-brake switch. Unplug it and see if the light goes away. Also, check the switch on the brake modulator. Unplug that and see if the light goes away. Other things that can keep that light on are the daytime running lights module, ECBM and traction control module.

Check the switch on the e-brake sounds like a short.
