Power window on Driver's side is acting up

1994 Z28
automatic
Everything powered

Ihad been warned about it... and it finally happened. The power window on the driver's side on my Z acts up. When I'm rolloing the window up or down.... it freezes! I have to wait a bit in order for it to work again. What is wrong?? Will it be a big pain to fix it?

Mine does the same thing. I was told it is the window motor. I don't think is that big of a deal to fix. Unless, taking door panels off an issue.

The same problem here, changed the motor and it is fine took a little longer than i thought squeezing your hands in there to get at it was the problem, but i managed just be careful with the little clips that hold your controls in the arm rest they are easy to lose and bend so if you don't lose one of them,.. they might not hold like they did before if you bend or break them in the process it happened to me, whoever designed it should be kicked in the nutz.

I had to put a screw in through my switch assembly to hold it in on the drivers side. One day it just popped out and wouldn't stay in place, clip or not.
