94 Z28 check engine light comes on when the engine fan comes on. Sometimes. ?????
Check engine light comes on when the engine fan comes on. ????
I would sure appreciate any info I could get about my check engine light coming on when my fan comes on. It don't come on when the AC or heat is turned on just when the fan to the engine comes on. The only thing it affects is the voltage a little and bugs me because the engine light is on. I don't notice any performance difference.

I think you are the second person to post the exact same problem. I would check to make sure the fan is working when the SES light is on. Check the fuses in the fuse box under the hood. Make sure all your ground wires are connected tight. You could have your PCM scanned while the light is on to see what the code is and go from there. Tell us what you find.
