Passenger side electric window

The passenger window on my 1998 Z28 moves slowly and stops after about 2" of movement and won't move again for about 2 or minutes. Any ideas on the most likely cause??

The motor has a built in circuit breaker that trips then cools and reses when overloaded. You can try to lube the rails and see if that frees it up. If not you may have to replace the motor. If you do, good instructions are available HERE.

I tried the graese thing, on the rails inside the doors, all I got was grease on the windows, and no change in the way the windows worked. It seems the motors need to be changed. Any ideas on where to purchase motors other than a GM dealership, and autozone

The gm motors suck...
Go to autozone and get the simmons replacement motors
They are 60.00 dollars a piece and have a life time warranty.
If you by the GM motors they run twice that and you will most likely have the same problem again with no warranty.. Good Luck
