Not getting spark

I was thinking of buying a 6-cyl firebird. It turns over and gets gas but it won't fire up. The car was running before being parked for the winter. Now the guy wants to sell it because he can't afford to go chasing the problem around.

Anyone have any ideas of what it could be? A bad sensor, what kind? Don't think that its the coilpacks, chances of three going out all at one time are one in a million. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Only one thing I can tell you..

check the coils, the ignition module [(under the coils) autozone checks them free] umm check the fuses and relays.. maybe even the plugs.

Not many ways to go about something w/o looking to see it for myself.

what year is it? might check out Camarov6.com and Fullthrottlev6.com thats where all the 4th gen V6 guys hang out. they know all and most common problems!
