AC jumper wire

How do I go abouts doing a AC jumper wire? I wanna see if my AC compressor still works.

All the help is appreciated.

Just apply 12 volts to the clutch. Don't run it too long that way. If the pressure goes too high it can cause alot of damage.

Actually, thanks for this Lyle. Is there any other way to jump the pressure switch to test if it works? I have a bad high side line, a leak in the rubber hose. I know its not getting any freon in the system, I hear it leak out as fast as it goes in. Just dont want to pull the alternator to get my fat hands down there to test it lol.
