trans t-350
i just picked up an 83 camaro with the turbo 350 in it. now i have a spare trans for it but was wondering if it was really blown. you can feel it go into gear and will only go in any gear at certain rpm but no actually going it just crawls basically. u have to get the rpms up in order to get it to crawl. any ideas? or just throw in the other trans.

Sounds like the clutches are fried , the factory trans in 82-83 camaros aren't TH-350s they are TH-250s It should have "metric" stamped into the pan it's a lighter cousin of the 350 ...
Unless some one swapped a TH-350 in that is what you would have .. either way you will need to swap it out ..
