Red face Slipped My Clutch

I went to dump my clutch at 3000rpms to see if my car hooks, and i slipped and it felt like i had no 1st gear, all the way to 5000rpm, im so stupid i guess i didnt let go fast enough, i just wanna make sure i didnt hurt anything, car still seems fine, but i smelt my clutch heat up a little, this is the only time i did it

Mine does that too. If i feather it - slips. If I dump it - it seems to hook but then bogs.. so i dont do that anymore.. at least not until i get a new clutch...

sujomatt try rebleeding the cluth sounds like you have air in there , or i have heard some guys complaining about this and found the problem was the fluid was getting to hot in the line against the headers so they wrapped it in insulatining tape and problem went away(but they had also changed their fluid out to)

good luck
