there are two different 10 bolts...a 7.5" and a 8.5". As long as they're the same, I'd guess they'd interchange unless the spline counts on the axles changed.
Is the '86 a V8 car?

I think the only thing that is a issure is the axels. Think 86's are 26 spline and the 2000 is 28 spline. so I dont think it will work unless you get some axel from a 89-92 camaro

ssean72 is correct on the spline differences. You would have to get 89-92 28 spline axles to make that work. Should be able to find some stock ones used though. The 28 spline axles are stronger too...
