Exactly my next ? Paul.... that will tell you if its driveline related or not rich, if it dont then its most likly motor balance. Another thing you can do it raise the car in the back and make sure its good to start and let the whhel turn. In N NO GAS let it free wheel, look at the shaft and see if its woobly. Do this after the N test.

No noise in neutral. No noise under load. No noise under power brake. Just cruising with a touch of the throttle. As soon as a press the pedal any further the noise goes away.

Now when I get on it, there is a driveline vibration in the low end. I am assuming that the ds needs to go back to the shop again.

Thanks guys for the help. Its nice to toss these ideas around.

either the gears are not in correct, the DS lost a weight or unbalanced, something in the trans, would not be suprized if you have a cracked flex plate but the shake from that is bad. at least its not a motor problem

It is not that bad, the noise is more irritating than the vibration. The vibration is minor. I am going to check the pinion angle and if that does not do it, I will have the ds rebalanced.

Thnaks again guys.

Pinion or carrier bearing problem. Changing your diff fluid wont do anything. If your pinion bearing was hammered back on by a retarded mechanic with an impact wrench that is your problem, they need tobe torqued by hand or else they fail. I changed teh gears in one of my rides and didn't get the adjustment just right and it howled like a banshee in everygear.

I found the problem. When I originally installed the torque arm, the alignment shop was supposed to correct the issue. After two different shops "looked" at it, they said was the angle was ok.

Now, its not ok. Soon to be fixed.
