$30? That's about normal. Go to AutoZone or the like. I've seen the polly mounts there. If you owe him one, just cough up the bucks. Not that much in the grand scheme of things.

I think I paid about $45 for my poly mount for the trans, so $30 sounds about right for a stocker. If I was you, I would just go out and get the poly, then give him back the one that you took.

Yeah most of the mounts I see are usually $30 or more.

Not to threadjack, but are Motor/Trans Mounts difficult to install?

Trans is really easy. If you put poly motor mounts in, you have to take your old ones out, take them apart, and install the poly in a vice and put the two halfs back together. Kinda a pita, but not that bad.

I think the poly one I saw at AutoZone was somewhere around $30-35 ... but don't remember exactly.

I tried the aftermarket stocker and it lasted almost all day before it pulled apart.

I ended up doing a bolt-thru, but MAN let me tell ya; the vibration is not pleasent...

Everyone I've talked to about says the OEM (Chevy parts) works best... Not sure what it runs, but... it's the dealer so be prepared to bend at the waist and cough.

My car shifts harder... A lot harder than most and I have had the same poly mount in mine for a couple years now.
