Exclamation A real problem!!

My m5 is grinding when I put it into first above 20mph with the clutch in, is that normal? Also when im redlining 3rd and shift into 4th it sometimes does not want to go in I dont think its the sycranizer it seems like its missing shifts now. Could be the clutch

It's a simple answer to fix the problem, it's just going to cost you $5 dollars for the answer.

No seriously. The synchro's sound like they are toast, if the clutch is grabbing and there is pedal pressure, then it sounds to me like you toasted the trans. Those little M-5's are not built for nitrous, and if you have been squeezing that sucker like you say you have, then it has taken it's toll on the drive-train, namely the transmission. My tag line comes to mind here. "If you are walking on egg-shells, don't hop1" Meaning, your transmission in stock form can't handle the abuse of drag racing. Sorry man.
