how hard and how expensive would it be to take a 76 automatic camro and change it over to a 4 speed manual. it is already a floor shifter not the coloum so the hole in the floor pan is already there but what else would be needed and how difficult would it be. please help thenk you

ALL you need to do is source a parts car in the salvage yard any 70-81 camaro or firebird will have the parts to make your car a 4 speed .. first the pedals and bracket need to be removed and switched theres a hole in the firewall for the clutch rod it is just below the brake booster then you need the clutch cross shaft and piviots one bolts to the frame and one bolts to the block.. then you need to put the stick trans bell and trans in place of the auto, it will bolt to the stock trans crossmember and driveshaft.. the (hole in the floor is not large enough )and the stick cars have a raised part that supports the shifter boot , if you can find a stick car with all the parts its mainly labor to change over look closely at any parts car you can find and you will get a lot of info as to how it all fits
