Unhappy leak

I found a leak from my crank case. I am guessing a seal? Is this pricey? I am no mechanic by any means but I'm trying to learn. Is it difficult to fix?

leak

If it's the rear main seal it will be a time consuming job...the motor will have to be jacked up to get oil pan off to replace the 2 piece seal...estiments from mechanics are free.
