b&m shift kit?

I have a 94 Z with the auto 4L60E tranny. I seen a B&M sift kit for my tranny that was baisically a rocker switch with 3 settings and a wiring harness. The price was something like $40 or $50. I already have a Hypertech programmer with the 'shift improver' selected(not much of an improvment). Would this be a better alternative to what I already have or is it not worth it?

I like the feel of mine. I drive it in the firm selection all the time and switch to kick butt when racing. And I'm talking on the fly selection. It's simple to wire into your PCM wiring harness.

Down through the passenger side fenderwell. Remove the panel underneath the glove box and the side kick panel. Wait, my son and his friend ran it for me, I'm thinkin we had removed the PCM and found an existing firewall grommet to feed it through. We started inside at the "cd holder catch all" area and then through the grommet hole to the PCM connector wires. I tie wrapped it to the top with some black tie wraps "real tight" and it holds pretty good, looks damn good.
Good Luck,
