Transmission???

is it hard changing the fluid and filter in a tranny? or should i save myself the trouble and have somebody else do it? what do i have to do in order to change it myself. is it easy to drop the pan. how much does it cost to do the job myself?

It is a very easy job. You drop the pan,and the filter will be right there it is just a press in piece you twist and pull to take it off and vice versa to put on one. It's amazing that tranny fluid is always overlooked because it is very easy to change. If you can change engine oil you can do it!

you wouldnt happen to know a rough estimate of how much it would cost? once you empty all the fluid do you just poor the new fluid from the dip stick area in the engine bay. or do you have to buy a pump thing and do it from the bottom?

You are right, you pour it in through the dip stick, I suggest you buy a funnel. Well the cost will be whatevery you spend on tranny fluid, I forget what it cost plus the filter which isn't much either. Oh and I'm assuming you have tools.

oh I forget howmany quarts of fluid you need, I think its 7 or 8. I'm sure everything it is under 50 bucks.
