Yea a skip shift eliminator does just what it says. You won't have that pesky problem anymore.

it bypasses the electric selenoid in the transmission which forces the 1-4 shift. actually the little wire harness keeps the ses light from coming on after it is disconnected. there's alittle more to then that because of the obd1 and obd2 issues, but thats basically it

Basically, your buying two dead end connectors. All it does is stop the signal from being sent and it keeps the dirt and debris out of the sockets.

Hey Lyle A, do the viper t-56 trannies have CAGS also. Im probably guessing not since they didnt intend on the car to be a gas conserver.

Just food fot thought.

That's a good question. I don't think they do. I should have said all Camaro T56 trans. The free mod costs less than 5 bucks and can be done in minutes. I have had no problem with mine as of yet.

I knew you ment t-56 for camaros but im really interested in t-56 camaro transmissions converting to viper tranmissions. Do they sell a kit so you can convert your trnamission to a viper transmission. When i heard they are 30% stronger, i think it would be wise to upgrade my camaros t-56.

I read the article in "Chevy High Performance" but they said they only swapped trannies into 60's and 70's camaro's.

DO THEY MAKE A CONVERSION PACKAGE FOR A 95' V8 LT-1 ?
