Need quick help on gears before buying car
Im about to go buy a 99 z28 6 speed tomorrow. The guy has put 3.73 gears in it. It whines when i let off the gas or when im barely giving it gas but at heavy throttle it is quiet. The whine is not extremely loud but its definitely noticeable and not that quiet either. My question is am i gonna have to get this thing realigned or are the 3.73 just that noisy?

4.10s all the way with 6 speed you will still get good gas mileage

Some gears are noisy, there is not much you can do about it. If the noise gets excessive then look into a new set of gears.
