car died on highway

ok heres the scoop. i was racing another WS-6 and at about 80 i let off. i went to push the gas again and it did nothing the rpms stayed at 400. my oil pressure was normal temperature was normal and battery power was normal. i popped it in neutral and then back in drive nothing. i got down to about 40 and it just died. so i coasted me way to the shoulder. when the tow truck came and pulled my car up. it had a puddle of oil the size of a baseball and one the size of a golf ball under it. there was alot of smoke coming from under the hodd when i pulled over. the engine does turn over. and my gear shifter does move so neither are locked up. i checked both fluids when i got home the oil level is still in the hash marks and the trans fluid smells good and is red. so i dont know what happened. i turned the key forward to see if it was the fuel pump and that sounded like it kicked in. im totaly lost. i have the car for sale for 5500 if anyones interested.
