Angry clutch nopeddel no fluid leak what gives

Ok I know this has been around the block a time or two. I looked and couldnt find the answers. Anyway, why I was out getting parts for my well the clutch went out at tractor supply. I put the car in run to hit the starter engage and felt the peddle go down on its own. I get out and check the fluid and its fine. but I did put a little in yesterday to top it off. I try to pump it and it wont move. I try and pull it up and it comes up and holds. I pump it 3 times and it holds till the 4th it gos to the floor and stays. I try it again and it works for 4 pumps and then gose down. I crank the car and try it and see if I can make it home. It holds so go ahead and try and make it 12 miles home and I do. I get there and as I stop and back it in like I always do. It gos to the floor and wont let me put it in gear. I pull it back up and I get it in gear and back it in. I checked the leavel and its good. I will admitt I have played a little but normally I dont because its a dd for me. any help will be appciated. if I cant fig it out I will send it to a local speed shop (dont wont to). thanks

its a m5 on a 99

Could possibly be some air in the line. You can try to have someone watch your reservoir as you pump the clutch pedal to look for air bubbles. A lot of times though the slave will have to be bench bled which means the whole setup will need to come off the car

im no expert on this, but, if nothing has been off the car and there is no signs of a leak in the driveway. my guess would be the slave cylinder went south. do you feel the same preasure now as you did, lets say a week ago?were you doing any high rpm shifting lately? might have blown part of the diaphram out of the preasure plate. its just a thought. im sure FANTA-Z will correct me if im wrong.
