"Clacking" From Engine.

So when I take off and till about 40 or until I back off the throttle there is this "Clacking" noise. Its coming from the engine bay. My guess is that my rockers are loose. How can this happen. And what are your alls inputs

Thanks Guys.

it can happen. but i'd pull the vc and check them all out. you could've broken a spring also.

check it out before anything else happens. last thing you want is bent rods or dropped valves.

My clacking was a bent rod... but that was after the shop fixed my blown head gasket. So you can probably rule that out...

yeah it still doesn't matter. something still couldve been put in wrong or loosened up. my buddy's 5.0 just got built and while it was being dyno tuned it broke 2 rocker studs and bent 2 pushrods . you just never know until you look.
